Kami is the leading PDF & document annotation app for schools. Improving engagement and interaction in the classroom with Kami as digital pen and paper. Kami integrates seamlessly with Google Classroom.

Installation
The Kami app extension can easily be installed on a CASD Chromebook as well as a home computer.

• - Click this link to go to the Kami App Extension in the Google Web Store
• - Click Add to Chrome
• - Click Add Extension in the popup box
• - Once the extension has been installed, click the Kami icon in the upper right 
• 

Create an Account
Either after installing the Kami Extension or directly from www.KamiApp.com

• - Click Sign In in the upper right 
• - Choose Sign In with Google
• - Use your CASD email and password
• - Choose Allow to allow access to your Google account
• - Choose K-12 School for type of use
• - Finally choose Student and click Finish

Edit Document

You can now edit documents directly from Google Classroom using the Kami App. 

• - Click on the assignment in Google Classroom 
• - An icon will appear at the top to open with Kami

• - Once opened, a menu will appear on the left

• - Most commonly you will use the text box to add answers to your document

• - And the drawing tool to mark up your document, circle answers and draw

• - Be sure to save your document (in the upper right) and go back to google classroom and "turn in" your document when you are finished
