Canvas Instruction

 

The district has provided several helpful "Canvas Chat" videos showing Canvas and how to navigate.  These can be found under the parent resources on the district website.

How to log in to Canvas

• • In a browser, go to http://casdschools.instructure.com/
• • Sign in using your school login <studentid>@casdschools.org and school password (the same password you use to login to your Chromebook and email account.)

Create a shortcut on your Google homepage

• • Open a new tab and on the lower right you will see a plus sign to add a shortcut
• • Type in a name for your shortcut (Canvas)
• • Type casdschools.instructure.com in the URL box 
• • Click 'done'

Now you have a shortcut icon for Canvas when you open your browser
